Participants Announced for Photographic Storytelling Mentoring Programme
5 September was the last day to apply for online Photographic Storytelling Mentoring Programme for young photographers. We received 80 applications from 27 Ukrainian cities and towns, including Mariupol, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Nikopol and other places most affected by russia’s full-scale invasion.
Some photographers were forced to leave their homes after 24 February, so currently applicants aged 15 to 21 are scattered around 15 cities in 12 countries, from Poland to the United States.
We would like to sincerely thank all young photographers who applied for the programme for their interest in photography, desire to grow and gain new knowledge, despite the difficulties they have been facing.

Photographic Storytelling Mentoring Programme for young photographers is organised by the international festival of contemporary photography Odesa Photo Days with the support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Programme will include two lectures for the participants:
● Fundamentals of Documentary Storytelling by Oksana Parafeniuk
● Second lecturer TBC
Recorded lectures will be made publicly available on the Odesa Photo Days YouTube channel. The Programme outcomes will be turned into a digital catalogue of photo stories and projects created by participants.
